Beijing-Auburn Exchange Initiative
In February, 2013, Auburn High School was proud to host two visiting groups of students from Beijing, China. The exchange was initiated by educators from the High School Affiliated to Beijing Normal University and Alpha Partners Education. Seventy-five students arrived at AHS to shadow students who had expressed an interest in introducing their new friends to academic life in the United States. The two days were filled with opportunities for students to share ideas, culture and friendship. Feedback on the experience, from both AHS students and students from Beijing was very positive. Students have kept in touch with their new friends and hope to meet again in a future cultural and academic exchange.
Former New England Patriot Andre Tippett visited Auburn High School on November 27th to present the award to Coach Cormier.
