Students For The Environment

AHS Students for the Environment is a club for students who are dedicated to raising awareness of environmental issues and working to foster positive changes in the school and community. Students plan and then lead activities in the community to have a positive impact on the local (or broader) environment and to raise awareness of local and global environmental issues. Examples of past activities: town trash clean-up, presentations on sustainability at AMS environmental fair, solar panels installed on snack shack, bike-to-school Fridays.

A large group of students poses for a photo in a gymnasium, seated and standing on bleachers.
